Leglessmoof first came up with the idea of doing DVD covers for the shows that he has re-authored with the available MetallicaVault soundboard audio mixed in.

So now onto the question...what way do you guys think the cover would look best?

I had simply thought about writting out the setlist and including some kind of symbol next to the songs that have the MetVault audio option. And of course having a subsequencial note to explain the different audio options.

But now that I look at how the cover is coming out, I'm not so sure if it is the best way to go at. Anyone have any good ideas?

Are you using the same templates that everyone uses for the vault audio covers? If not, I would make a note at the bottom just the way you see it in any official release.

Yeah I am using the Vault templates. I think I got something good here. I will work some more on it tomorrow and hope for something good. <_<

Probably what I would do is use the front and back templates and resize each to 510 pixels wide and stick them on the DVD cover. I might also do that with the spine. Or some sort of logo type thing might work out, like the MetallicA Vault logo on the site or something.

I have already done the resizing of the front template and when I put the back template on the back portion of the cover, it looked rather odd with the thinner top portion, so I currently have the front template on both parts of the cover. As for the spine, I tried it once and it came out pretty shitty looking, so I'm not sure if the template for the spine will work or not <_<

Alright, well I got the spine to work by merging together two of the bottom pieces, so it has 4 bolts instead of the original 2.

Let me know what you guys think, if all goes well, the Middletown 1994 one should be done within the next few days. B)
