Bootleg Title: Capn's of Krunch
Venue: Stadhalle
Date: December 5th, 1984
Setlist:
Fight Fire with Fire
Ride the Lightning
Phantom Lord
The Four Horsemen
Cliff's Bass Solo
For Whom the Bell Tolls
No Remorse
The Call of Ktulu
Seek & Destroy
WhipLash
Creeping Death
Kirk's Guitar Solo
Metal Militia
I would post track numbers and running times, but some times alternate sources of bootlegs come out, or they get remastered, and the tracks/times may change, so I'm just playing it safe.
The main reason I'm looking for an alternate cover for this is because since the bootleg is called "Capn's of Krunch" I thought the cover should feature the Capn's of Krunch artwork...
Here it is for the people that don't know:
http://images.google...nch&btnG=Search
http://images.google.ca/images?q=capn'...ial&sa=N&tab=wi
Those are the only pics I could find, along with this one:
I'm sure there are others, though.
But if someone could whip a cover up using that pic and some other concert pics from around that time, that would be sweet.
edit: Actually, if you can, I'm looking for the whole package. Covers, booklets, stomps... Thanks.,

I was going to accept this request, but I thought about it and decided I would give you a chance to reply because it just seemed like the perfect opportunity for another one of your interesting concepts, and I enjoy seeing all your creativity that goes into making covers like this.

Hey, I know we already talked in PM (Mr. Metal) but I thought I'd share with all. The two biggest versions around that I can find are either the one from the first link d-man gave (from metallicaworld, which is down right now) and then this one which I've had on my HD from sometime now (4/1/2002 save date) and don't remember where it came from.
Once metallicaworld is back up, I think thats the biggest image (its some 400-500 px) while mine is only around 350px, but it might be because mine is cropped more (see the image from the google search, the met world one has a lot of extra black).
Anyways, heres that image:

Here's the other one from metworld in case it goes down. A little bigger, but a little less quality due to high contrast

well here is what i think.
yeah the Bootleg Title is: Capn's of Krunch
but that image has JASON ON IT
why would someone want to have a 1984 bootleg that has cliff on bass with a pic of jason on the cover ehhe
i think is weird

Maybe you could do something like on the back of Garage Inc., with a patched/taped Cliff over where Jason is? Just an idea.

Ok, so this one is done.
It's either you love it or you hate it!
It's all based on the Capns of Krunch cereal box.
I basically had to remake the whole picture, because it look pixelated when I made it bigger, so I used the Hammer of Justice artwork, tried to fix the little hats (you can see that I kinda miss it, but it's not very noticeable) the only thing I had to use from the picture was the title because I never found that font.
The back is kinda funny as well as the inlay.
Cap'ns of Krunch
Enjoy it or hate it I myself, love it
I tried to make a "Cliff" out of Jason, but it looked like shit...sorry I had to stick with the original piece.
