Ok, this one is done
I was inspired by one of the pics from the SO WHAT book that makes james look like a comic book character or like those old batman shows where you could read "POW!" or "SLAM"
Anyway, you can thank (or most likely blame) that picture for this cover...
I made this cover looking like a comic book. I myself think is one of my most creative, but the results are not the way I wanted them to be I think the colors are cool, but I think I added too many different colors.
Feel free (in other words... please) to give me some feedback on this one
Ft. Lauterdale 2004
Ft. Lauderdale Disc One
Ft. Lauderdale Disc Two
P.S. The stomps will be make tomorrow, I'm falling to sleep :bored: and I don't know if my sentences make sense...
EDIT: Fuck....I think I already made 4 mistakes! Is not Lauterdale isn't it?

Man, that one is awesome! I love it. Don't know why you don't like the way it came out It's so creative!
I love the front, "Signature Series" and "Certified Heavy" - Nice touches! And how did you do the larger picture of James on the front, the background one?
Definitely an excellent cover man!
PS - yes, it is indeed Ft. Lauderdale

Geez...I made a mistake in lauderdale (twice ) forgot to include kirk's 2nd doodle...what a mess
Thanks for the kind words Justin, I think it looks good...but I'm not satisfied at 100%...don't know why to be honest...
Now how did I make the background, it was kinda easy
1- Took one of those high rez pictures and delete the background to have a psd of the little james
2- I pasted the original picture as background and copied that layer
3- On the copied layer I use Filter --> Sketch --> Halftone Patterns --> Pattern type: dots (the size and contrast depends on how big and bright is the pic you are using)
4- Now, after that, since I had my background and foreground colors pallete (You know, the squares in the left menu under the hand and the zoom tool) in red and gray it came out looking red and gray, but I pressed Ctrl + I and inverted it and it came out looking like that...I guess it depends on the colors you are using, then I lowered the opacity and the fill.
Sounds complicated, but it isn't...hope you understand me, I am pretty bad at explaining.
I'll edit the cover tonight...i don't have the psd files here

Sounds like something kind of easy. Although, I use Macromedia Fireworks, so it will be tough to try it in that program. I'll give it a try when doing some covers. I always like learning how to do new things with these paint programs. :thumbs-up:Sounds complicated, but it isn't...hope you understand me, I am pretty bad at explaining.
